Acció de gràcies

L'Acció de gràcies o el dia d'acció de gràcies (en anglès Thanksgiving i en francèsAction de grâce) és una festivitat anual per agrair (tradicionalment a Déu) la collita de la temporada. Als Estats Units se celebra el quart dijous de novembre. Al Canadà se celebra el segon dilluns d'octubre. Al Regne Unit l'acció de gràcies és un altre nom pel festival de la collita que organitzen les esglésies del país, encara que no és un esdeveniment important. A Nord-Amèrica aquesta festivitat commemora la supervivència dels colonitzadors amb el suport dels amerindis nord-americans. El president Abraham Lincoln la va oficialitzar com afesta nacional el 1863 durant la Guerra civil. Al Canadà es va oficialitzar el 1879. Tot i que els origens reliogiosos de la celebració, està considerada com una festivitat secular.

Eva Simons (nacida el 27 de abril de 1984, Ámsterdam, Países Bajos) es una cantante neerlandesa que llamó la atención del público por primera vez en 2004 al ganar el concurso de televisión Popstars como parte de la banda de chicas Raffish. En el 2009 inició su carrera como solista.A los dieciséis años descubrió los programas Logic y Pro Tools y comenzó a producir de forma profesional. "Quería usar algunos ritmos además del sonido del piano y oír cómo quedaban mis canciones".
En 2008 comenzó a componer para otros artistas. Y atención, porque pronto estos trabajos se editarán en su país.
